O'Hare Ranch is a small family operation consisting of Kenneth O'Hare, and sons Corby and Doug. We have been in the cattle business for about 50 years and still ranch the land that Kenneth’s great-grandfather homesteaded over a hundred years ago. Originally, we ran a commercial cow herd, where we retained the calves and feed them out in our feedlot; in 1989 we got into the replacement bred heifer business. We grow our own corn and silage to feed. We do custom backgrounding and feeding. Click here for more ranch information. |
Built in 1883, the Ainsworth Inn Bed and Breakfast continues to cater to customers seeking a warm bed and a place to relax. The furnishings and owners have changed, but not the atmosphere or memories. Visitors are often surprised by the wealth of activities offered in this area. Recreational activities include but are not limited to hiking, hunting, antiquing, fishing and the list goes on. Catered meals by reservation can be provided within the facility as well as Victorian tea parties for little girls. Visitors will enjoy the antiques and gift shop available on site. Specialty items include "Yucca Duds" and "Yucca Uns", handpainted china, candles and salsa. Make your visit to Ainsworth, Gateway to the Sandhills a memorable one! Click here for more information.
